MALOCAS JUNGLE LODGE

1st DAY

Departure from your hotel in Manaus at 7:30 a.m.

Car transfer to Rio Preto da Eva (~80 km), followed by a motorboat ride to Malocas Lodge (~1h).
-
Arrival at Malocas, check-in, and lunch.

Departure for the first activity: visit to the caboclos (Amazonian natives who live in the forest through hunting, fishing, and cultivating vegetables such as manioc).

Return to the lodge and dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Night canoe ride to observe caimans.
2nd DAY

Early wake-up to watch the sunrise: canoe trip at 5:00 a.m.

Breakfast at the lodge

Departure for a forest hike with a swim in the waterfall: your guide will explain everything about the forest, medicinal plants, wildlife, as well as essential survival skills in the jungle

Lunch at the lodge

Piranha fishing in the afternoon
-
Dinner and overnight at the lodge: enjoy a sky free of light pollution for stargazing.
3rd DAY

Breakfast at the lodge (~7:30 a.m.)

Departure for a forest hike: a new trail and waterfall depending on the season

Lunch at the lodge

Departure for a “survival night”: overnight in the jungle with your guide, improvised dinner around a campfire in the forest, night in a hammock to the sounds of the jungle (mosquito net not provided – must be purchased before your arrival at Malocas).
4th DAY

Wake up and have breakfast in the jungle, then return to Malocas

Lunch at the lodge

Free afternoon: relax in a hammock or swim in the river

Dinner at the lodge

Night canoe ride for a relaxing experience.
5th DAY

Breakfast at the lodge (~7:30 a.m.)

Departure for a forest hike with a handicraft workshop

Lunch at the lodge and return to Manaus (estimated arrival around 5:00 p.m.).
