ABOUT US
Malocas Jungle Lodge is one of the first jungle lodges built in the Brazilian Amazon. In 2025, we celebrate 33 years of offering unique experiences to nature lovers.
We chose to settle far from tourist areas, away from the traffic of large boats and tour groups, in a region of primary forest, difficult to access, and rich in wildlife, along the banks of the Rio Preto da Eva.
Our lodge is the perfect base to reconnect with nature. Built following the traditional methods of the region’s ancient inhabitants, traces of this civilization can still be found here, along with the strong spiritual presence of the great indigenous chief who protects this land.
In 2025, we inaugurated new wooden chalets, each paying tribute to an indigenous tribe that may have once lived in this area.
At Malocas, we aim to offer a true disconnection experience: solar energy softly illuminates the rooms, restaurant, and common areas, but there are no electrical outlets in the rooms (available only upon request at the restaurant), and we do not provide Wi-Fi (except in emergencies). The goal is simple: step away from the city’s hectic pace, phones, and screens, to hear only the sounds of the forest and reconnect with life around you.
At night, you can gaze at the star-filled sky, free from light pollution, and feel the pure energy of nature.
Your senses will be awakened, and your energy fully recharged!

Malocas Jungle Lodge was created to offer a unique, nature-immersive experience. With a maximum capacity of 24 guests, each stay is personalized, far from mass tourism and commercialized travel.
Our accommodations are simple, rustic, and welcoming, allowing for a true immersion in the forest:

3 chalets for 4 people, each with a private bathroom, ideal for families or groups of friends.

4 double rooms with bathroom, perfect for couples or travelers seeking peace and quiet.

1 honeymoon cabin with bathroom, for special moments in close contact with nature.
The goal is for you to disconnect from everyday life and fully embrace the Amazonian environment, feeling the spirit of the forest, the sounds of wildlife, and the pure energy of nature, all while staying in simple, cozy accommodations.

Malocas Jungle Lodge is committed to respecting the legislation applied to the adventure tourism sector. Our Lodge is certified by the ABNT NBR 15331 Safety Standard; in the items "alligator walk", "piranha fishing" and nightlife observation (alligator spotting).
We continually strive to improve our services to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests and employees. Many people must change something in themselves to accept nature without wanting to change it. We respect the environment, the local community, our employees and customers.
